Everything you need to get the most out of Dog Academy
1. Add your dog. On first launch you'll be asked for your dog's name, breed, and training level (puppy / adult / advanced). You can edit these later from the Profile tab.
2. Pick a command. Open the Library tab and browse commands by category — obedience, tricks, socialization, and more. Free plans include a starter set; premium unlocks the full library.
3. Start a session. Tap "Start Training" on the Home tab. Follow the step-by-step lesson, mark each attempt as success or retry, and record your dog's mood at the end.
4. Build a streak. Train a little every day. You'll earn badges, unlock new commands, and watch your progress chart grow on the Progress tab.
Tip: Short 5–10 minute sessions work better than long ones — dogs learn best in small bursts.
Dog Academy Premium unlocks the full command library, unlimited sessions, advanced progress tracking, and AI avatar generation.
Plans:
Free trial: New subscribers get 14 days free. You won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
Cancel anytime: Open the iOS Settings app → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Dog Academy → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period — you keep premium until then.
Refunds: All refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Got a new iPhone or reinstalled the app? Your subscription follows your Apple ID — you don't need to buy again.
To restore:
If restore doesn't find your subscription, make sure you're signed in with the correct Apple ID in Settings → your name → Media & Purchases.
Have a promo code from a friend? Open the paywall in the app and tap "Have a friend code?". Enter the code in the Apple sheet that appears — a free month is added to your account automatically.
Codes are single-use and issued through App Store Connect. If a code says "invalid," check for typos or make sure it hasn't already been redeemed.
Products won't load on the paywall. Check your internet connection and pull down to refresh. If the issue persists, sign out and back into your Apple ID in Settings.
Avatar generator isn't available. The dog avatar generator uses Apple's Image Playground, which requires iOS 18.1 or newer on a compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro or later).
Siri isn't opening the app. Make sure Shortcuts is enabled in Settings → Siri & Search → Dog Academy.
Lost my training data. All data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, data is removed with it. We don't have server backups.
